A few weeks ago, after doing a one-on-one ZOOM deliverance session, one of the friends I was training that evening shared that he suffers from narcolepsy, a medical condition that causes a person to suddenly fall asleep without warning. He asked me if deliverance was the solution. Understanding the symptoms of narcolepsy but not the cause, I asked him what his doctors had told him the potential causes were. He said that his doctors stated that narcolepsy originates from the same area of the brain that epilepsy originates. Being the same medical cause as epilepsy was an interesting revelation because a few weeks before that evening, God completely healed a man of epilepsy through deliverance immediately after one of our monthly three-day revivals. I shared that testimony with my friend and told him that if his ailment were caused by a similar spirit to epilepsy, God would do it again that night. At the time, we had another friend on the call, and my friend was in the living room of his house with two other friends. As he sat on the couch, I asked, “Are you ready to be delivered and healed of narcolepsy?” He responded, “Yes, absolutely!”
I pointed at the computer screen and sternly said, “Spirit of narcolepsy, I command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come up and out and go to the pit!” I proceeded that command with asking the Holy Spirit to fill my friend with Holy Spirit fire from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. I repeated both prayers until the unclean spirit manifested and eventually came up and out of my friend. Today, over a month after that evening, my friend, who dealt with dangerously random sleeping spells while driving on the highway and uncontrollable sleeping spells at work and throughout most of his life, is completely healed and completely free from the spirit of narcolepsy.
