April 22, 2022 – Yorktown, Texas – Pastors Olivia and Jonnathan had the honor of ministering at the 2022 Christian Warriors Retreat’s (CWR) Mens Conference. Similar to last year, there were many physical and emotional healings.
One man they encountered was a fiery Vietnam War veteran named Bill. The night they met Bill, he was in a wheelchair because his right leg was amputated, from the knee down, from injuries he sustained while serving when he jumped out of a helicopter which was damaged and literally spun while free-falling from the sky. Bill needed countless healings. First, his lone left knee, which was surgically repaired, was swollen and in constant pain. Second, he was diagnosed with arthritic hands which caused him much pain and discomfort. Lastly, Bill had severe neck and shoulder pain which restricted his range of motion.
The CWR leadership team and Jonnathan had the privilege of praying for this hero. Vietnam veterans have a special place in Jonnathan’s heart because his parents and brother were refugees from the Vietnam War. After relentless prayer over Bill’s left knee, hands, right thumb, and neck, Bill rolled away, in his wheelchair, completely pain-free.
The next morning, freshly healed and with a pain-free left knee, Bill installed his prosthetic left leg and was able to abandon his wheelchair.
