Prophetic Word for 2021
2020 has left Christians standing in a red sea moment. Believers can press forward and continue to trust God to lead us through the uncertainties of the future or return to the certainties of slavery.

When the enemy can no longer scare us into slavery, he will tempt us into it by convincing us that slavery is our salvation.

Exodus 14:10‭-‬12
As Pharaoh drew near, the sons of Israel looked, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

In the story above, the sons of Israel, who were just freed from generations of slavery, had a generational decision to make:

  • Trust God and step into a sea filled with uncertainties.
  • or forfeit God’s promises and return to the false provisions of slavery.

Exodus 14:13‭-‬16
But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. The Lord will fight for you WHILE YOU KEEP SILENT.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward. As for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and the sons of Israel shall go through the midst of the sea on dry land.

When God instructs the sons of Israel to “KEEP SILENT,” He is commanding them to restrain from grumbling, griping and complaining. I believe a key to 2021 is to embrace this same commandment, keeping silent from all grumbling, griping, and complaining. Our victory will come through our ability to rejoice and remain grateful.

The new year is a year that the Moses’, God prophets, are called to lift up their staffs (authority) and stretch out their hands (provisions), and divide the obstacles that stand before us.

“My people have fallen into slavery,” says the Lord. “I have come to open their blind eyes, to see the shackles which they have allowed the enemy to place on them. The shackles of false promises of and false provisions.”

“I have come to open the deaf spiritual ears of my people,” says the Lord. “They will no longer be comforted by the lullaby of the enemy. Wake up, my children. Wake up.”

“I have come to break off the chains of pride and entitlement which had caused my children to become complacent and lazy,” says the Lord. “Arise and take back the land you traded for false comforts and broken promises.”

“I have come with a commandment to my children to humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways,” says the Lord. “Then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

“I have loosed the tongues of my prophets,” says the Lord. “They will dream my dreams, see my visions, and speak my fiery refined words. Let those with eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to receive, see, hear, and receive a fresh outpouring and manifestation of My Spirit.”

My church and my people have been forged and are stronger than ever,” says the Lord. “My people have drawn closer to me and My Kingdom has expanded.”

“I will draw closer to those who draw close to Me,” says the Lord. “I will draw close to the people who lean in will hear My Voice. I will draw close to the people who purpose to establish My Kingdom will see My hand upon their works. I will draw close to the people who are slow to speak and quick to listen. They will receive My commandments. I will draw close to the people who will utter what I speak. They shall see dry bones come alive. I will draw close to the people who draw their life from My spoken word. They will thrive.”

“The new year will be a year of intimacy, says the Lord. “The enemy’s tactics will backfire, for My people are stronger than he thinks.”

“I will awaken the sleepers I have placed in prominent positions in government and media,” says the Lord.

“They will be set ablaze and the world will be in awe of Me once more. They will be compelled only to speak the truth, I speak through them.”

“Cookie jar, cookie jar, the hands in America’s cookie jar will be exposed,” says the Lord.

As we enter 2021, we must decide what we will do.

  • Trust God and step into the sea filled with uncertainties.
  • Forfeit God’s promises and return to the false provisions of slavery.

As for me and my house, we will step into the sea and watch the hand of God move.

SCRIPTURE FOR 2021

Psalms 121:1‭-‬8:
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever.
